Flag of Angola | Angola Flag Meaning & History

The Flag of Angola is isolated into equal parts - the top half is red and the base half is dark. In the banner is a yellow insignia comprising of a fractional gear-tooth wheel, a cleaver and a star.  Angola Flag Meaning:  The red in the banner speaks to the gore by Angolans during persecution, the national freedom battle and the barrier of the nation. The dark speaks to the Continent of Africa. The image's cogwheel speaks to the workers, and mechanical creation, and the cleaver speaks to laborers, rural creation and the nation's furnished battle. The star represents worldwide solidarity and progress while the shading yellow speaks to the abundance of Angola.  Angola Flag History:  The current Angola flag was received on November eleventh 1975 after Angola got free from Portugal.
